Pavin is a nationally certified physician assistant (PA) specializing in sleep medicine. He earned his PA degree from Northern Arizona University at the downtown Phoenix campus. He has interest in sleep medicine because he personally knows the struggles of insomnia and hypersomnia. Sleep plays a tremendous role in many aspects of an individual’s life; and Pavin desires to help patients get the best sleep possible so they are ready to conquer each day.
Before becoming a PA, Pavin worked as a certified nursing assistant in an underserved nursing home and a patient care technician in the general surgery floor. Caring directly for patients helped enhance his personal qualities of patience, empathy, attention to detail, and adaptability so he can continue to provide quality healthcare.
Pavin moved to Phoenix in summer 2019, but spent most of his life growing up in Washington state. Here, he graduated from University of Washington with bachelor degrees in Biochemistry and Biology. During his free time, you can find Pavin hiking in mountains, biking on local trails, or walking around exploring new places. When the weather turns to a furnace, Pavin enjoys staying indoors and reading self improvement books, or catching up on the lastest Hollywood, Bollywood, and Disney movies.
