Sarah Patel, MD, is a Board-Certified Adult and Pediatric Sleep Medicine doctor at Sonoran Sleep Center, serving people ages 4 and older, living in and around Glendale, Arizona, and throughout the West Valley.
Dr. Patel was born and raised in the Phoenix area. She earned her medical degree from the University of Arizona College of Medicine in Tucson. After graduation, Dr. Patel completed a fellowship in sleep medicine at the University of Washington College of Medicine (UW) in Seattle.
Following fellowship training, Dr. Patel returned to Arizona and established Sonoran Sleep Center. She established Sonoran Sleep Center to provide comprehensive care for sleep disorders in the Phoenix Metro area. She loves getting to know people and has a warm and compassionate bedside manner. She speaks English and Spanish fluently.
Dr. Patel’s attention to detail and commitment to patient care hasn’t gone unnoticed. The first year Sonoran Sleep Center opened, she was awarded Top Doctor for Sleep Medicine.
When she isn’t meeting with patients or developing treatment plans, Dr. Patel trains medical students as a Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine at the University of Arizona and Creighton University Phoenix campuses.
Dr. Patel proudly holds membership in several professional organizations, including the Arizona Medical Association and the American Academy of Sleep Medicine. In her free time, she loves spending time with her family and also enjoys hiking, cooking, and traveling.
